Brain hired by Insel Berlin
New look for the island in the heart of Berlin.
The ‘Insel der Jugend’ is a popular location among Berliners. A former youth club developed into a cross-generational cultural center under the name “Insel Berlin”, it now offers to the public a broad portfolio of activities in the areas of leisure, culture, and relaxation. For a perfect summer stroll through Treptower Park, end it around a pint at the island's Biergarten or cozy up on the lawn for an open-air cinema at sunset.

Branding
Connecting visitors with the brand.
A prime objective of the rebranding was to strengthen the identity of the island with an iconic visual mark. Previously, Insel Berlin's logo was not only unrelated but also considerably lacking visibility. When designing the new logo, I've looked for the rawest features defining what makes this island so special. Frequent visitors will now relate at once to the subtle but recognizable shape of its entrance. To improve visibility, it is planned that the brand be implemented throughout the center's items by the summer.

Relax by the water.
Summer days are coming folks! The island is working hard to welcome you again for a relaxing weekend on its docks: Soon, you'll be able to dive into a novel by the water, reconnect with friends around a Lagerbier and go on a Canoe adventure on the Spree.
But there is more: Insel Berlin provides spaces for rent! Talking of special experiences, host your next event on an island in the middle of the city. More about rentals on inselberlin.de/vermietung

Website
A new digital bridge takes you to the island online.
The island's brand new website aims to promote all the things you didn't know about the island. More than its popular Biergarten and canoe rental services, it hosts a stage for your performances, a rooftop terrace, a winter café and you can even rent out its lawn for a group of up to 150. The website also showcases upcoming events by Insel Berlin and its regional cookery.
